TROUBLED black empowerment group New Africa Investments Ltd (Nail) said on Thursday it has appointed Warburg Dillon Read to act as independent financial adviser on its restructuring. Nail said in a statement that Warburg will “provide advice to the board of Nail regarding its restructuring plans, with specific regard to reviewing its shareholder structure and defining the group’s future strategy and business model” It added that it has also appointed Letsema Consulting to focus on issues related to black empowerment. Nail said recently that it will restructure to restore shareholder confidence shaken by a recent boardroom row which led to the departure of its founding directors, Nthato Motlana and Jonty Sandler.
