Grade 12 learners around the country spent three hours writing Physical Science Paper 2: Chemistry today, and we got Theo Pellissier’s opinion on the exam.
“After speaking to some of my learners and looking at the paper, I think today’s exam was much easier than the physics paper (which the learners wrote on Friday,” says Pellissier, who is the head of Science at Sasolburg High School.
“It was also very similar to the exemplar sent out by the department, and if the learners went through that they would have had no problem with today’s paper.
Pellessier is happy with th progress of the National Senior Certificate exams thus far, as he feels the papers have been balanced and are challenging for learners across all levels.
