Selective reporting? You decide

The report was leaked to the M&G ahead of Cosatu's conference next month.

Our article "Cosatu report hammers self-serving ANC" quoted the organisation's general secretary Zwelinzima Vavi saying that the ANC is increasingly being damaged by factionalism, patronage and corruption.

Cosatu released a statement on Friday soon after the story was published, condemning the leaking of internal documents to the M&G and described the story as misleading.

The leaking of the documents was divisive behaviour that undermined internal cohesion, Cosatu said.

The M&G's editor-in-chief Nic Dawes has publicly stated that our publication is willing to release the full document to the public, but due to space constraints could not do so in the newspaper edition.

In keeping with his statement, here is the full leaked political report.
