The UN’s top climate negotiator voiced optimism on Monday that a deal can be salvaged next month at world talks on global warming.
Time is running short to pull together a global climate-change deal in crucial talks in Copenhagen in December, the UN’s climate-change head says.
Yvo de Boer, executive secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, refers to 2009 as “the year of climate change”.
