ANC top brass reluctant to work with the EFF

ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa closed this year’s campaign by making an ambitious prediction of an outright ANC victory countrywide, but internal sources say the party is already talking to its existing coalition partners in the metros about life after 1 November.

The party’s own figures are said to be predicting that the ANC will not be able to regain control of the Nelson Mandela Bay, Tshwane and Johannesburg metropolitan councils.
