Pulitzer prizewinning photographer Greg Marinovich makes a second appearance (due to public demand) at the Vega School of Branding Innovation to talk about his work as a creator of images and words.
Marinovich was born in South Africa in 1962 and, after a decade and a half spent in conflict, documentary and news photography, he co-authored The Bang Bang Club: Snapshots from a Hidden War, a book that deals with media production during the time of South Africa’s transition to democracy. It has since been adapted into a major feature film. Marinovich’s work has appeared in top international publications such as Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and the Guardian. He chairs the World Press masterclass nominating committee for Africa.
